Synopsis: A Russian scientist, Boris Turganev, defects to the West and is employed at an establishment in England, using his great knowledge of nuclear power in top secret conditions. He passes information to the local landowner, Skelton. Subsequently it transpires that he is working for British Intelligence who are aware that Skelton is a spy. Turganev is tried and condemned, and his escape engineered so that he can continue his activities for the British in his own country.
